Marian and Simon met in 1989 while studying with Lecoq in Paris.

Along with their own Theatre and Film Creations they have provided specialist training for actors, theatre companies, universities and theatre schools including:

Some of the best theatre I have ever seen was at his school in Paris. His approach of playing theatre starting from the body is incredibly exciting, practical and real.

At The Jacques Lecoq school I met my husband, Simon Edwards, a great actor and one of the best specialist in comedy I have ever known. Since we met we have worked together in many theatre and film projects internationally. The Teachers

Simon Edwards (U.K.) has worked internationally in the business for over twenty-five years as an actor, clown, director and teacher. He trained at the Jacques Lecoq theatre school in Paris. He has been a core member of Kneehigh theatre, for whom he directed Skulduggery and Telling tales. He is a founder of I.M.D. (U.K. based independent film company) for whom he recently directed two films.

Simon is a founder member of the Actors Space, where he teaches acting for stage and camera.

Marian Masoliver (Spain) trained at the Lecoq theatre school in Paris. She has worked internationally as an actress, teacher and director for over fifteen years. Amongst other companies she has worked with la Fura dels Baus and Kneehigh theatre and has been a director and puppeteer with Los Titiriteros Theatre Company in New Mexico (U.S.A.). She is a founder member of I.M.D. (and played the lead in their last film).

Creating the Actors Space was just an obvious step in our careers. We always dreamed of a place were we could share the techniques we knew, research and deepen our knowledge of theatre and film and create new work.
